Price Markup refers to the ratio between the cost of good and the discounted selling price of the product you are offering.

Compare At Price Markup refers to the ratio between the cost of good and the original selling price of the product you are offering.

With Shopzie, you have the ability to set a default price and compare at price markup so that each AliExpress product you publish to your Shopify store via Shopzie will have the default pricing markup applied to it. You can set the default price markups by percentage or by amount. We do recommend setting at least 50-75% markup so that you will have a higher profit margin.

Please keep in mind that Shopize will take the sell price on AliExpress to do the price and compare at price markup, not the original price.

Let's take a look at this example:

Susan has set the following price markup settings inside Shopzie:

Price Markup: 100%                  Ending Cent Value: .49
Compare At Price Markup: 200%            Ending Cent Value: .99

For this cat necklace, Shopzie will take $2.95 (The AlIExpress Sell Price) and apply the price markup percentages. This means when this necklace is published on Shopify, it will be:

Price Markup = $2.95 x 2 = $5.90.
Since the ending cent value is set to be $.49 then it will become $5.49.

Compare At Price Markup = $2.95 x 3 = $8.85.
Since the ending cent value is set to be $0.95, then it will become $8.95.

To set an ending cent value:

1. Go to Settings.

2. At the top, next to Price Markup, select "Percentage or Amount" from the drop down menu. Then enter in the desired percentage or amount, and the desired ending cent value.

3. Repeat the same steps for the Compare At Price Markup.

4. Click "Save".

Please note: The price and compare at price markup will apply to all products you publish to your store. However, you can go into the specific product inside Shopzie or Shopify to make price changes. If you leave the price markup section blank, Shopzie will publish the products with the AlIExpress sell price.
